APPLING, Ga. -- The logical conclusion to draw from Adam Hammes’ 10-under par 58 at the International Disc Golf Center’s W.R. Jackson course Friday to open the Ed Headrick Disc Golf Hall of Fame Classic is that he was channeling 2017. After all, it was on this same track that Hammes carded a career breakout performance--the night after battling the stomach flu, at that--to jump onto the final round lead card of the PDGA Professional Disc Golf World Championship. Back then, he shot the same 58.

APPLING, Ga.--The long road of the 2019 season has come to an end.
The tour rolled out in Las Vegas, then blew through Kansas on the way to a Pacific time zone swing. A quick stop to crown some PDGA World Champions in Illinois gave way to the iron curtain of Delaware and some heated East Coast Majors.

It's been a long season, but we've got one more in us.
Any held divisional spots for the PDGA National Tour finale, the Ed Headrick Disc Golf Hall of Fame Classic, that are not filled by Monday, September 30, will be opened for either division. Competitors wishing to play in the Open Women's division must be registered by that date.

Catrina Allen had pulled out to a six-shot advantage through 11 holes Sunday at Iron Hill Disc Golf as she looked to finish off a wire-to-wire, rebound win one week after dropping to third place at Pro Worlds. But as anyone in the Open division can attest to, the final stretch of the Delaware Disc Golf Challenge is punishing and never ensures that a lead is safe.
Iron Hill provided the stage for some tremendous final round drama at the Delaware Disc Golf Challenge. Steve Hill checks in with the last Chain Reaction dispatch from the First State, featuring post-round reactions from the top finishers.
