18 hole disc golf course on a 9 hole executive length ball golf course. Initially only open 4 days each month: The 2nd and 4th Thursday (starting 12:30pm) and Friday (all day). Fun layout with good variety (not wide open!) and moderate difficulty, A well-maintained area with lots of big trees and two ponds. Night play and glow golf is fantastic here. Play til 8:30! Practice basket for putting and nets for warming up your drive. Pond discs are fished out once a month, can be retrieved at the pro shop. Rates between $9 and $15 depending on time of day and San Leandro residency. Twilight rate discount. $6 replay. Cart is another $8-10 per rider. Online tee times available. OK to just show up, it's not super busy. Maps/scorecards available in the big course pro shop where you pay. Golf greens and ponds are OB. Sand traps are hazards - one stroke penalty, play where it lies. Please be extra courteous and aware. Always let faster players play through your group. Don't walk across the greens unless you have to, and fix any disc dings on the greens. Don't get too upset if players rudely or obliviously hit down the fairway before you've cleared the area. Even though they already have foot golf here, it might take a while before the traditional golfers are comfortable with us. After a while, maybe disc golfers get to play more often. Whirlwind Disc Golf has donated the professional design and first-rate equipment for this course. Whirlwind will set up its mobile disc golf store most 2nd and 4th Friday afternoons. *Opening 1/23/20 - first tournament planned for Saturday March 14, 2020.
